Cherry
Wood
Cherry wood is moderately heavy and strong, a reliable hardwood. Found to be uniformly textured and grained it is characterized by red undertones which can range from a light to deep reddish brown. Small knots and /or wormholes are somewhat common in the surface of the wood. Well known for its response to light, you can expect it too darken with time, displaying a rich, lustrous patina. These variations are usually visible with natural or light finishes, less so on darker stains.

Maple
Wood
Maple wood is hard and dense. It’s close grain is very subtle in appearance may vary from a tight vertical pattern to a wide arch-shape. The color range spans from white to a light yellowish-brown. Marsh is very selective in this color range, ensuring the brown portion to have a faint brown tint. Inherently, there are very fine honey-colored mineral streaks, which may be visible when a light finish is applied. Being part of the natural beauty these variations should not be considered defects.

White Thermofoil
Thermofoil finishes make it possible for MDF doors to have a solid protective covering. Thermofoiling is a process that uses pressure and high heat to bond a thin PVC “skin” (or film) to a form (such as a door). This allows for much more detail and design, something that is not possible to achieve with laminates. They are extremely durable, easy to clean, and highly resistant to chipping and cracking. The core is medium density fiberboard (MDF) with a white melamine back.
