I received the glass blocks yesterday and your nice thank you card.  I was so thrilled to receive them so quickly! I have multi-color battery operated LED lights in all but one and it has battery operated clear mini lights.  I read on the plug-in lights that you should not let the wires touch the bulbs and a friend said she had a similar gift (lights inside a corked bottled) catch fire.  So that's why I decided to stick with LED's.

During a Bathroom remodel we wanted to add more natural light, and give the bathroom a more modern look. Replacing the original 48" x 10" sliding window with a 48" x 36" Glass Block Panel was just the right touch we desired. The panel was shipped on time and arrived on the date specified. I spent weeks on the Internet researching and APM (now Accent Building Products) was the head and shoulder leader in real value and quality.

Built a Studio Set with Anchor Desk for Military News Cast. We tried many ideas and concepts for our set. We wanted to make the anchor desk completely out of glass bricks but found that simple fluorescent lighting frosted plastic worked better and then we could incorporate the bricks into the base of the columns.

Complete Remodel of main bathroom in '60's era home. Removed old jealousy window and replaced with glass block panel. The glass block panel was very easy to work with, I didn't have to worry about learning how to lay the glass block. I just set the panel where I needed, trimmed the outside and tiled up to it on the inside.

Our daughter, Katie, a 3rd year Architecture student at Cal Poly, designed an addition to our home for her grandmother. Glass block was used in several locations, including bathroom, entry and stairwell. In the stairwell, Kate incorporated various sizes of the glass block for a unique design. Visitors comment on the artistic nature of the glass block and on how the colors of the outdoor environment reflect a rainbow of light inside. I love what the glass block has done for my new home! The rooms are all very bright, yet it feels quite private.

We gutted our 23 year old master bathroom and decided to put in a glass block shower. My husband found APM Direct (now Accent Building Products)while searching the internet for glass block. I did not think I could save any money over my local improvements stores, especially because glass block is so heavy...but we did! We saved over $450 buying through APM Direct (now Accent Building Products) versus local improvement stores. We also decided to go with APM Direct for the pre-made glass block window, which turned out great for the inside of the shower. Delivery was a breeze, out of 125 blocks we only had a couple chipped blocks, which customer service was excellent in giving me credit for. I will definitely use APM (now Accent Building Products) for future improvement projects on my home.
