Our custom size mantels have the same basic price structure as our stock size mantels. With the custom size mantels, you are able to specify the exact inch and fraction you want your size to be, plus add for extra return depth if necessary. The Value and Select Series mantels are available in MDF, Birch and Oak. MDF (Medium Density Fiberboard) is made from wood fibers and is a great low cost alternative wood. Its hard surface resist dents and scratches and its low cost will save you money on your painted applications. Our birch mantels are made of clear birch wood with clear white pine moldings so that you can paint or stain them. Our oak mantels are made with clear red oak wood and red oak moldings. Our Signature Series mantels are available in MDF and red oak. Please view the different woods with the different finishes listed below for ideas. The wood and finish is specified under the individual mantel images.
