Bathroom vanities are available in two height options.  Standard vanities have a height of 31-1/2"; however the new, more modern, height is 34-1/2".  You will find that the taller height bathroom cabinets are becoming more commonplace.  Look for them under Tall Vanities when browsing our collections.

Bathroom Cabinets: Ideas for Remodeling Your Bathroom

Double Bowl Bathroom Vanities

One popular trend with master bathrooms, and even some guest baths, is a double bowl bathroom vanity. Depending on your space, this can be accomplished in two ways. One way is placing two vanity pieces together that would provide surface space for a one-piece countertop. Or, if your bathroom space allows, you could install two separate bathroom vanities, creating two unique spaces.

Create Your Own Personal Spa

The modern approach to bathroom design creates a spa-like, tranquil space. One suggestion for accomplishing this in your space is by adding a vanity sitting space using our vanity drawer unit to bridge together two vanity pieces. Compliment the space with a small vanity stool to successfully design a very personal space within your bathroom.

Let The Natural Light In

Another way to achieve your dream spa-like bathroom is to maximum the natural sunlight entering your bathroom. One solution is the use of glass block windows, because while they allow the natural light to enter, they also provide privacy. If you like the look of glass block consider integrating glass block in your bathroom design either by installing a glass block shower kit or creating a glass block partition wall. An additional way to get natural light into your bathroom space is by installing skylights or suntunnels.

Bathroom Cabinet Storage Space

Don’t forget about planning for bathroom storage! If your bathroom design does not include a built-in linen closet you may want to consider a stand-alone linen cabinet that matches the wood and finish color of your selected bathroom cabinets. Linen cabinets are available in two depths and five widths, 12” / 24” and 15"/ 18”/ 24”/ 30"/ 36". Also, keep in mind drawer space.  Since many vanities have false drawer fronts, you may want to consider the addition of a vanity drawer base or a vanity configuration with integrated drawers on the side.
