STILES & RAILS:
Oak and Aurora lines have solid,
3/4" thick and 1-1/2" wide; kiln dried oak stiles and
rails. Maple and Fairmont lines have solid, 3/4" thick
and 1-1/2" wide kiln dried maple stiles and rails.
Woodland lines have solid, 3/4" thick and 1-1/2" wide;
kiln dried cherry stiles and rails. All are mortise &
tenon construction, glued and secured with steel fasteners.
The tenon on each end of the rail is 3/8". |

STANDARD DRAWERS:
The drawer box sides are made of 5/8" natural maple laminated
particleboard or white laminated particleboard, with PVC edge
band. The bottom is 3/16" thick laminated particleboard.
The sides and bottom are glued, grooved and secured into each
other. The drawer front is attached to the front of the
drawer box with screws. |

END PANELS: 1/2"
industrial grade particleboard, laminated on both sides, notched
4-1/2" up from the bottom edge and 3" in from the front
edge for the toe kick. The outside lamination matches the
color of the frame and the inside is a natural light maple laminate.
Fairmont interior lamination is white. End panels are glued
and secured with steel fasteners to the front frame. |

BOTTOM PANELS:
The bottom panel is 1/2" particleboard, laminated on one
side, glued, grooved and secured with steel fasteners into ends
and front frame. |

TOE KICK:
The toe kick is 4-1/2" high and mounted flush with the end
panel edge. It is 5/8" industrial grade particleboard,
stapled with a clear plastic clip connector to the end panels.
The toe kick is not laminated and requires application of a finished
toe kick or toe plate. |

SHELVES:
The shelves are 1/2" thick particleboard, paper laminated
on both sides with a PVC edge band on front edge for finished
appearance. The shelves are half-depth and are adjustable
with locking shelf clips. The front clip has a stop to keep
the shelf from moving forward. They are shipped installed
in the cabinet. |

BACK PANEL:
Back panels are 7/32" particleboard, laminated on one side
with a natural light maple or white laminate on the Fairmont line.
The panel is bored for the drawer glides installation. The
back panel is grooved and glued and secured with steel fasteners
into end panels. |

BACK RAILS:
Top back rail is 3/4" unfinished particleboard, lip tenon
into the end panels, glued and secured with steel fasteners on
the outside of the cabinet. The bottom back rail is 1/2"
unfinished particleboard lip tenon into the end panels, glued
and secured with steel fasteners on the outside of the cabinet. |

CORNER BRACES:
Rigid plastic formed braces are secured with steel fasteners into
sides and back for structural support. They are predrilled
for anchoring the countertops. |

DIVIDER STILES: For
two door base cabinets, the standard dividing stile is 3/4"
thick and 3" wide; solid kiln dried oak on the oak lines
and maple on the maple and white lines, and cherry on the Woodland
lines. The pantry base corner has a 6" or a 9"
wide stile; solid oak on the oak lines, solid maple on the maple
and white lines, and solid cherry on the Woodland lines.
The divider has a 1-1/8" tenon on each end, fitting into
a mortise in the top and bottom rail, glued and secured with steel
fasteners. |

DOORS: The
doors all have a 1/2" overlay on all sides, leaving 1"
of face frame exposed on the stiles and rails, and 2" on
the divider stile. |

HINGES:
On the Aurora lines, the steel hinges are semi-concealed, adjustable,
and self-closing. On all other lines, the hinges are fully
concealed and open to 106 degrees to permit easy access.
Easy clip-off feature allows quick removal of doors for installation
without removing the mounting screws. Hinges are self-closing
and adjustable to allow six different door alignments. There
is a manufacturer's lifetime warranty on all hinges. |
