Not to be confused with unfinished which is raw wood with nothing applied; our natural finish is a clear coat varnish. It is used to provide a nice even sheen to the wood as well as to strengthen the surface. As always, if you are interested in the natural finish we recommend ordering a sample door, it is the only way to be 100% certain that a particular finish is right for you.
