Basic Information for Glass Block Products:
  • American-Made: No other line of glass block is entirely American-made, comes in as many styles and sizes and is as reliable and widely available. And no other glass block has Pittsburgh Corning's industry-famous quality control. Each Pittsburgh Corning Glass Block is completely computer modeled using the finest raw materials, including pure silica sand. After it's fired at 2,300 degress F., each block undergoes a slow strengthening process to ensure consistent color and the ultimate in reliability.
  • R-Value: The R-value for the Premiere glass block is 1.96, which is equivalent to a double pane thermal window. Thinline glass block has a R-value of 1.75.
  • Individual Blocks or Pre-fabricated Units: APM Direct offers individual glass blocks in a variety of styles and sizes. Ideal for constructing your own unique project. For simplier installation, choose pre-fabricated window and panels.
  • Glass Block Windows: Patented Clear Choice Windows combine the beauty and durability of real glass with a full-featured vinyl frame and nailing fin. Maximum light and privacy with no window treatments necessary. Includes exclusive snap-in nailing fin. Meets tempered glass requirements. Made with real glass block and welded vinyl corners. Vinyl frame is available in white or tan.
  • Glass Block Panels: Pre-fabricated glass block panels are labor-saving products that are perfect for basement windows, new windows and small partition applications. Panels are available with or without ventilation.
  • Glass Block Shower Systems: Shower kits come with everything needed to construct a beautiful and dramatic addition to your bathroom. Available in three different layouts.

Shipping:

Large and/or heavy orders and glass block showers are shipped via common carrier. The carrier will call to set-up a delivery time for your tailgate delivery. You must be present for delivery and be able to remove the items from the tailgate of the truck and move them into your home. You can request a lift gate delivery, however you will be responsible for the additional cost.

Orders must be shipped within the 48 continental United States. Small are shipped via UPS or Fed-Ex, larger items or large quantities will ship LTL (tractor trailer). Sales tax does apply for orders delivering to Pennsylvania, Maryland, New Jersey or West Virginia.

Lead Time: 10 - 15 business days. Glass block showers 15 - 20 business days.


Shipping Charges: $39.95 per order


Damages: Damaged items must be reported within 48 hours of delivery, no exceptions.


Non-Returnable: Because windows and panels are made to order items they are considered non-returnable. Individual blocks can be returned, please call for a Return Autorization.

In order to avoid any unnecessary costs, please ensure that your shipment has arrived in full and in satisfactory condition prior to scheduling contractors / installers.
